02Our approach
When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Until you accept, only strictly necessary storage is used — Google Analytics, our own statistics, Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights and Google Maps don’t load at all. “Reject all” is always as easy as “Accept all”.
We use Google’s Consent Mode, with advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation permanently set to denied. We don’t use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking pixels.
03Strictly necessary
Keep the site secure, deliver pages and images, and remember the choices you make in this banner. These can’t be switched off. Always active.
| Name | Service | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
mdb:consent | Cookie preferences | Local storage — Remembers which categories you accepted or rejected, so we don’t ask on every page. | 12 months |
_vcrcs | Vercel hosting & security | Cookie (only during a security check) — Serves the website, protects it against abuse and keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser) for security. | 1 hour |
| None | Cloudinary media delivery | Optimises and delivers the photos and videos on the site. Sets no cookies. | — |

07Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw analytics consent we stop collecting immediately, delete the Google Analytics cookies on this site, and remove our random analytics IDs from your device.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings:
To opt out of Google Analytics on every website, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
08Updates
We review this list whenever we add or remove a service. If the cookies we use change, we’ll ask for your consent again. See also our Privacy policy and Terms of use.
